It's hard to believe it's been 2 whole months already, yet it's even harder to imagine life without sweet Avalyn in our family...such a perfect fit! She's growing fast, but I love that she still fits in some of her "up to 7 lbs" clothes. It's always a little sad putting the clothes away that they grow out of.
Everyone is recovered and back to normal here, which is wonderful! My main goal today is to find the toys that have gone missing in the last few weeks. I haven't been as particular (I'll use that word, it's nicer) about having things spotless at the end of the day and now it's absolutely driving me nuts that we can't find Bob the tomato, the French peas or Archibald Asparagus, among other missing things. Sounds pathetic, but I have mounds of laundry and more disinfecting to do as well...not just the hunt for the missing toys.
I know some of you are on the edge of your seats waiting to see the latest cake creation, OK maybe just Nancy and maybe she is just humoring me, but I'll post pictures later of my mom's b-day cake.

We love sweet baby Avalyn. I just can't believe how fast she is growing. I can't wait for SJ and Avalyn to distract our life group. wink.
