Avalyn's Kindergarten B-day Treats...

Things are getting back to normal here and I'm allowed back in my house during the day! I've been baking and cooking and trying to get outside when the sun peeks out of the clouds! Yesterday I made these cookies as a practice run for Joelle's shower. (IF she would eventually be having one: Joelle, if you're reading this) I have to admit, I was rejoicing when I ran out of decorations cause they took a long time and the dough made a TON of cookies! I think they turned out pretty cute!

When uploading the flower cookie picts, I realized I had a bunch of other ones I wanted to blog about...I think I'll just save time and add them to this post and write a caption...

Father's Day '08

Owen and Aves got Ryan cool stuff for his Algonquin trip. That bowl is that rubbery material and folds up to be about a half an inch tall. Owen loved going around saying, "Happy Fadder's Day!" all day!

I made BBQ chicken pizza and stromboli and Owen did a really good job helping to roll out the dough. I was impressed with him! (The dough is whole wheat, in case you were wondering about the odd color.)

It cracks me up how Owen does the "head tilt" whenever he says, "Cheese" now. All I have to do is have the camera out and he's in position!

P.S. Although I like to be majorly prepared, the title of this post is a joke...or is it?
